Spring 2022 Catskill Mountains, New York

Namaste Beautiful Friends!

Is life somewhat back to normal? Have we reached herd immunity? There are many questions still to address. This is Memorial Weekend in the United States, I wish to offer condolences to all who are missing loved ones at this time.

Earlier this year I received an invitation from the Sivananda Yoga Ranch in New York to participate as they prepare for reopening in June. They have been fully closed for almost 2 years. Sivananda Vedanta Yoga was my first formal yoga training in 1980. I respect the organization for the integrity they maintain in their teachings. Yoga and Vedanta form two branches of the 6 formal Hindu Philosophies.

We were kept very busy and I had a difficult time with the temperatures, being the San Diego “weather wimp” that I am. Therefore the following photos are not the best examples of what transpired. But it was great to make new “karma yogi” friends and return to the exemplary practices of an Ashram. I am wishing them a grand re-opening and a great Yoga Teacher Training beginning in July. Do check out their website for more info.

Sending Love and Light to you my friends, to our country the USA, and to our Planet Mother Gaia.

Wishing you More Love More Light More Peace

Good Bye to Song of the Morning

Autumn spirals into winter and we are weeks away from the end of this year. I am not yet used to writing “2015”. Is anyone else bewildered by this?

I was honored to work at the Song of the Morning Meditation Retreat in northern Michigan for half of this year. The Retreat is founded on the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda and is the home of a truly beautiful group of people. The following photos depict the autumn landscape. Please go to their website http://www.songofthemorning.org for more info and a complete listing of their offerings.

Thank you to all the kind souls that I connected to during my time at SOTM. May the new year bring so many wonderful blessings to you all!
